A passion for food

Biography

I started a part time job as a pot washer in a local pub, whilst still at school to earn a little pocket money. This led on to me being offered a job as a trainee chef in the same

establishment, which i chose not to to take, but instead enrolled into my local college on a 4 year chef training course.

Going on to get my qualifications having finished the various courses, I then started my career in earnest as a chef.

During this time I was very lucky to gain appointments in a variety of Michelin starred establishments,

1.Lombard St. London; Winteringham Fields with rooms, Hull; Hotel Interlaken. Interlaken Switzerland; Dubai Air Show.

Further establishments I worked in allowed me to gain invaluable experience and rise up the ladder to reach head chef status.

In a career change of direction I moved into the contract catering field, where this led me into the section of catering for private schools

providing meals, event catering, and ala carte dining.

Having travelled the length of the country in this role I became a development chef, responsible for the creation of menus and the execution of them

across schools all over the country

This all round depth of knowledge in the catering industry backs up my desire and love for producing quality food from locally sourced suppliers

always with
